The past century at St. Matthias Catholic Academy.has been rich with a tradition of academic excellence, faith formation, and service to our community that has been nurtured by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. We continue our commitment to serve the families of our community, working together to help develop the minds, and imaginations of all our students.
Today, St. Matthias Catholic Academy continues its mission to provide an academically challenging environment to students from Nursery through 8th Grade. Our more than 9000 graduates are a testimony to the school’s success and commitment to academic excellence.

Christ is at the center of all we do at SMCA. Whether we’re studying, playing, or praying; our words and actions reflect our Catholic Identity. Service projects are ongoing.
Hydroponics Lab
We’re growing green and studying sustainable, urban farming in our STEAM lab. By growing vegetables, we study age appropriate lessons for all grade levels across the science curriculum.
Special Programs & Extracurricular Activities
A variety of enrichment activities and programs are offered throughout the school year and across the grade levels. These include band, piano, scouting, sports, and clubs for all ages.
